Following on from their highly impressive rookie campaign in 2023-23, DVTK HUN-Therm continue to catch the eye this time around. They firstly knocked the ambitious London Lions out of the Qualifiers and then won on the road at reigning EuroCup Women champions LDLC ASVEL Feminin in the first week of the Regular Season,
Now they're set to run out in front of their terrific home support in Miskolc, who will be ready to create another special atmosphere as they welcome an opponent also riding the crest of a wave. Casademont Zaragoza got their debut win in the competition last week and did it in style with a comprehensive success. against ACS Sepsi-SIC. This really could be a game that you just can't take your eyes off.
You can watch the live broadcast of the game between DVTK HUN-Therm and Casademont Zaragoza with commentary on the EuroLeague Women YouTube channel on Wednesday, October 11 at 18:00 CET.
Key matchup: DVTK were propelled during that classy win in Lyon by Reka Lelik who led the way with a bright showing and that is why the club brought the Hungary international to the team in the off-season. She will again be important helping in the backcourt and on the wing, which could mean a direct duel with a new arrival for Casademont Zaragoxza in the shape of Tanaya Atkinson. Like her new club, she also debuted in EuroLeague Women last week and showed promising signs she could be a big contributor.

There was plenty of data to consume and chew over from the first week of action that could play into this weeks games as well. That was the eye-popping number of three-point attempts in the contest between Villeneuve d'Ascq LM and Serco UNI Gyor. Talk about a shoot out!
Will both teams stick with trying to make it rain in their respective outings this time around?
Question of the Week: Which Italian club will finish with the best Regular Season record?
There's a great rivalry between Beretta Famila Schio and Virtus Segafredo Bologna and the EuroLeague Women dimension to this is growing in its intensity. Both teams are flying the flag in the competition for Italian basketball and both picked up Week 1 victories to get onto the front foot.
But who will impress the most over coming months? Schio made the Final Four for the first time last season, but is that something Virtus might replicate this year?
