MUNICH (Germany) - Famila Schio will head into the winter break in good spirits after a terrific road victory at Gdynia, while the three French clubs in the competition all signed off the calendar year on a winning note.

Famila Schio completed what was arguably their most impressive performance of the campaign to date as they swept aside Arka Gdynia 74-47 on the road.

The silky skills of veteran Sandrine Gruda were in evidence as she claimed a classy 17 points and 11 boards, with Sabrina Cinili enjoying a perfect shooting night in a nice cameo that returned 11 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds.

BLMA bounced back from their gut-wrenching loss at Girona last week to take a 77-70 success at Sopron Basket. As usual, Steph Mavunga was influential, with her 18 points and 11 rebounds the highlight for the French visitors.

Bourges Basket also did the business to sign off from 2019 in style and in form with their fourth win in five games. They eased their way past Reyer Venezia 68-45 and it was Elin Eldebrink who impressed with 16 points and 8 assists, while Alexia Chartereau fired 20 points.

LDLC Asvel Feminin racked up a much needed success by beating Dynamo Kursk 84-59 to improve to 3-5, with the win also memorable for another major reason. Teenage sensation Juste Jocyte made history by becoming the youngest player in the modern era to step out in the competition at just 14 years old.

UMMC Ekaterinburg had little difficulty despatching Castors Braine 101-73 at the DIVS Arena after another superb shooting effort from the in-form Emma Meesseman.

She provided the backbone of the win as she went 10-of-14 from the floor for 23 points, as well as adding 8 boards. Jonquel Jones also brought the power in the paint with a 19-point and 10-rebound double-double.

ZVVZ USK Praha are keeping pace with UMMC and are also now 7-1 after yet another crushing victory. Their latest victims were TTT Riga who got swamped 98-48 and were on the wrong end of another Alyssa Thomas masterclass. She netted 25 points,16 rebounds,5 assists and 3 steals, while her teammate Brionna Jones brought the noise in a big way with 26 points and 14 boards.

Nadezhda have bolstered their roster with the addition of Anastasiya Verameyenka, though the Belarus national team standout wasn't part of a 74-64 home success in Orenburg against Gelecek Koleji Cukurova. Playmaker Yvonne Turner top scored for the winning side with 16 points.
