    Regular Season set as Arka Gdynia, BLMA and Reyer Venezia take last tickets

    MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroLeague Women Regular Season groups have been confirmed following the conclusion of the Qualification Round which witnessed Arka Gdynia, BLMA and Reyer Venezia seal their spots.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroLeague Women Regular Season groups have been confirmed following the conclusion of the Qualifiers which witnessed Arka Gdynia, BLMA and Reyer Venezia seal their respective spots.

    Reyer Venezia needed overtime to eventually see off DVTK of Hungary, having trailed by double digits from the first leg. They secured an exciting 81-68 win as they finished the contest with a dramatic 10-1 run. Anete Steinberga starred as usual with 16 points, while Jolene Anderson inked a rare triple-double of 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

    Arka Gdynia did the double over Botas SK as they followed up their eye-catching first leg win in Turkey with a similarly impressive 84-75 home court success. It was built around another towering performance from Belarus national team forward Maryia Papova who netted 27 points in a scorching shooting performance.

    Meanwhile BLMA also finished the job in front of their own fans as they turned the screw against Olympiacos to seal an 86-67 second-leg victory. Having won the first meeting by three points on the road, they made light work of the second match-up, with Stephanie Mavunga again the standout as the center amassed 23 points and 13 rebounds.

    The losing sides – DVTK, Botas SK and Olympiacos – will all now continue their campaigns in EuroCup Women.
