MUNICH (Germany) - It was a memorable night for LDLC ASVEL Feminin who will play in the EuroLeague Women Quarter-Finals for the first time after getting the win they needed to make the last eight of the competition.

To make things even more enjoyable, they booked their spot in style by completing a 78-65 win against Group B winners, Fenerbahce Oznur Kablo.

Marieme Badiane chose a great moment to have the best game of her career in EuroLeague Women as she impressed with 17 points and 8 rebounds, collecting her tally with a sparkling 70 percent from the field.

Following the win, ASVEL playcaller Valery Demory looked back on the strong finish to the Regular Season: "A few weeks ago, we needed to win five of six (to advance) and we did it! My team has a big heart. I liked the way they played on the court tonight. We played against a very tough team, and it’s greatly satisfying. We beat a big European club in the incredible atmosphere here at the Astroballe."

Meanwhile, point guard Julie Allemand was also excited about booking a ticket to the Play-Offs.

"We played with heart, and everything turned right tonight," she said. "Even if everything wasn’t easy, we were in the game, in the battle. When we play like that, with heart and determination, there is no more tiredness."

They stuttered offensively and went down 57-45 as Adaora Elonu did the damage with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists, with a smart 11 point and 7 rebound cameo from Abby Bishop also important for Girona.
