MUNICH (Germany) - There are only four weeks of the Regular Season in the books and yet Alina Iagupova has already secured her second Performer of the Week honor after another sizzling display for Fenerbahce.
The free-scoring and versatile Ukraine star was the main architect of an excellent 73-54 road win for the famous Turkish club on the road at Dynamo Kursk. Iagupova couldn't be contained by the home defense and she finished up with a fantastic valuation of 41 having accrued 28 points, 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
She will now be favorite to take the Fans' MVP accolade too in the vote below, although she does have some competition from the rest of our Team of the Week.
This includes the popular Emma Meesseman who impressed off the court last week with her Players' Voice feature and she followed that up with 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 74-67 win against ZVVZ USK Praha.
Her UMMC teammate and frontcourt partner Brittney Griner also starred, with the American shooting 71 percent from the field en-route to 25 points and falling short of a double-double by a solitary rebound.
Yvonne Turner made it consecutive Team of the Week appearances after once again inspiring Nadezhda to victory. This time, her 21 points, 4 assists and 4 steals was at the heart of her side coasting past Reyer Venezia 78-51.
Finally, Famila Schio caught the eye as they moved to 3-1 by beating BLMA 65-60 in an entertaining match-up, with Jillian Harmon standing out due to a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds
