MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) – Tina Charles was too much to handle for the Sopron defense, as she posted her best game of the season against the Hungarian side to spearhead the Top Performer lineup.
The 30-year-old center joined Dynamo Kursk at the end of October, making her return to EuroLeague Women after a three-year absence. On Thursday, she underlined her prowess with a 31-point, 12-rebound double-double, guiding Kursk to a 65-58 win in Hungary and a perfect 5-0 record in Group B.
Charles could only be stopped with fouls, as she made 11 trips to the free-throw line, and she also showed her worth on defense with a game-high 4 steals. Her efficiency ranking of 41 is the highest after five weeks of Regular Season action.

She is joined in the frontcourt by Alyssa Thomas, who keeps impressing in her debut EuroLeague Women season. ZVVZ USK Praha bounced back from last week's defeat in Ekaterinburg by breezing past Castors Braine, 82-63. Thomas did it all, accumulating 23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for an efficiency of 35.
It is Thomas' third nomination for the Team of the Week, a number matched by Sheylani Peddy. The TTT Riga guard led her side to a 70-51 triumph at Olympiacos with a stat line of 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.
The lineup is rounded out by Cecilia Zandalasini and Adaora Elonu. The Italian star top-scored with 19 points, as Fenerbahce won the all-Turkish duel against Hatay BB, 87-74, while the Perfumerias Avenida forward chipped in with 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting and 6 rebounds in the Spanish side's 75-62 win at Carolo Basket.
