    Matchups confirmed for EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals

    MUNICH (Germany) - The lineup for this month's EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals has now been confirmed after the successful conclusion of the Round of 16 stage on Wednesday.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The lineup for this month's EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals has now been confirmed after the successful conclusion of the Round of 16 stage on Wednesday.

    Three clubs from France, two from Spain and one each from Italy, Turkey and Israel will play in the next phase of the competition in the battle to be crowned champions. 

    Umana Reyer Venezia had to survive a nerve-shredding ending in their second leg win against Elitzur Holon to advance, and will face another Israeli club in the Quarter-Finals after being paired with Elitzur Landco Ramla.

    Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring are two-time winners and are now a couple of steps away again, with surprise package Cadi Le Seu standing in their way, while Casademont Zaragoza have been pitted against Villeneuve d'Ascq LM next.

    Meanwhile, back at this stage of the competition once again, LDLC ASVEL Feminin will play in an all-French tie against Angers. The clubs with the higher seeding will play at home in the second leg.

    The pairings in the Quarter-Finals are as follows:

    Umana Reyer Venezia (ITA) v Elitzur Landco Ramla (ISR)
    Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring (TUR) v  Cadi La Seu (ESP)
    Casademont Zaragoza (ESP) v Villeneuve d'Ascq LM (FRA)
    Angers (FRA) v LDLC ASVEL Feminin (FRA)

    The first-leg encounters are scheduled to tip off on Thursday, February 23 and the return-leg games are set to take place a week later, on Thursday, March 2.

    The winners will qualify for the Semi-Finals on March 16 and 23, with the two-legged Final set for April 5 and April 12.
