    Powerhouse Brown picks up Qualifiers second leg Top Performer award

    MUNICH (Germany) - Kalania Brown bagged Top Performer status for the EuroCup Women Qualifiers second leg games after her majestic double-double propelled Hataysport safely into the Regular Season.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Kalania Brown bagged Top Performer status for the EuroCup Women Qualifiers second leg games after her majestic double-double propelled Hataysport safely into the Regular Season.

    The center was too much of a handful for the Elitzur Holon defense as she accumulated a spectacular 23 points and 15 rebounds in a 90-52 victory.

    She is joined on the Team of the Gameday by Kolby Morgan of another Turkish team in Elazig Il Ozel Idare, who eased out AC PAOK 80-76 to advance by eight points on aggregate. The guard caught fire and finished the contest with 29 points after shooting 69 percent from the field, as well as grabbing 6 rebounds.

    Brittany Brewer scooped Top Performer honors for the first leg games and she was terrific once more for Liege Panthers. This time she terrorized Ulriken Eagles from Norway with 20 points, 13 rebounds and a 9-of-12 shooting effort in a 71-55 victory. 

    Iceland will have a team in the Regular Season after the effervescent Helena Sverrisdottir produced a remarkable 32 point performance, for Haukar as well as 3 rebounds and 3 assists in a dramatic 81-79 defeat at Sportiva AzorisHotels which was only just enough to advance against their fellow Islanders. 

    Nausia Woolfolk also lands a place in the best five after she registered an impressive 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the Portuguese team.
