InvestInTheWest INEA Gorzow squeezed their way past WBC Enisey 67-66 in an exciting home clash, although their supporters will be sweating ahead of the second leg with such a small margin to take to Siberia.

Laura Juskaite was excellent with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals for the hosts, with Kyara Linskens posting a powerful double-double of 12 points and 16 rebounds in defeat.
There was also a modest advantage for DVTK Miskolc who dug out a 59-54 triumph on their homecourt against Olympiacos. It was attained after Ziomara Morrison turned up the volume in the paint to acquire a fine 26 points and 11 rebounds, with the Hungarians also using some impressive defense.
Both Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje and Cadi La Seu jumped towards the next phase as they both collected more convincing victories. The former strode their way past BC Elfic Fribourg on the road 89-72 as WNBA player Paris Kea led the way with 20 points.
Rookie entrants Cadi La Seu continued their march onwards with a 59-46 triumph against Basket Hema SKW after holding their Belgian opponents to just one score in the last quarter of the contest. Tinara Moore was the hero as usual with a stellar 20 points and 16 rebounds.
The other four first leg ties of the Play-Off Round 1 took place on Wednesday night, when teams on the road completed a clean sweep.
