    Tickets punched for Tarbes GB and Spar Citylift Girona, while Nantes Reze record eye-catching win

    MUNICH (EuroCup Women) - Tarbes GB and Spar Citylift Girona advanced to the next phase of EuroCup Women on Wednesday night, while Nantes Reze rocked Italian hopefuls Reyer Venezia.

    Tarbes GB are 4-0 and safely into the next phase after they completed a 68-55 success against Elfic Fribourg to maintain their flawless record. Margaux Galliou-Loko starred with an all-action 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.


    Similarly, Spar Citylift Girona are also still perfect and have punched their ticket after riding past domestic rivals Lointek Gernika Bizkaia 47-78 off the back of 21 points and 9 rebounds from Keisha Hampton.

    Nantes Reze produced and eye-catching result as they shut down the visiting Reyer Venezia 63-57 with Shaqwedia Wallace dropping a nice line of 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. That improved the record of Nantes to 2-2, which is the same as the Italians.

    Elsewhere, reigning champions Galatasaray had a tight squeeze at Niki Lefkada but came from behind to take a 64-69 win as Victoria Macaulay racked up a pivotal performance of 19 points and 12 rebounds.

    Orman Genclik and WBC Enisey are now locked on a 3-1 record in Group D after they each took victories. The former beat out Turkish rivals Mersin 62-58 as Rebekah Gardner netted a spectacular 31 points. Enisey were comprehensive 83-63 victors against ACS Sepsi-Sic, with Stephanie Mavunga continuing her rich vein of form with 28 points.

    Meanwhile Ruzomberok and DVTK are also both 3-1 in their respective groups. Ruzomberok conquered Basketball Nymburk 84-76, with Janeesa Jeffrey adding 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. DVTK benefited from 24 points by Lithuanian Egle Sulciute as they strode past KP Brno 70-83.

    Finally, Uniao Sportiva posted a belated first win and kept their dreams of progressing alive by beating Uni Gyor 66-61. Joana Soeiro paced the hosts with an all-action 14 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.
