MUNICH (EuroCup Women) - We reflect on an exciting and eventful last week of the EuroCup Women Regular Season and see how it played out on social media, as well as catching up with those involved.

The last week of action was not just about reaching Play-Offs Round 1, even for those who had already booked their spot, there was a chance for the eight best-placed clubs to leap forward to the Round of 16.

TTT Riga did a memorable double over the loaded Olympiacos with a 74-70 win in their second meeting and that was of particular satisfaction for head coach Martins Zibarts.

"I's a pure joy and satisfaction to win a game like this," he declared.

"We have posted a lot of victories in the last five minutes of regulation and have shown our character all the time. There were many moments when we were close to defeat, but we survived!

"We won against a very strong team, since Olympiacos has one of the best and deepest benches in EuroCup Women. Their roster includes eight Greek national team players and three good foreigners," added the play-caller.

One of those Round of 16 slots was also snapped up by Virtus Eirene Ragusa.

They were able to complete a 79-69 win against Basketball Nymburk and progress from their group with a perfect 6-0 record.

It was a similar story for Spar Citylift Girona too, as they departed Hungary with a stunning 83-54 triumph against VWB CEKK Cegled.

That left them with a 5-1 Group record - also enough to catapult them into the Round of 16.

Sleza Wroclaw racked up a flawless campaign, managing to slide comfortably past Istanbul Universitesi 95-55.

While Sharnee Zoll was terrific as usual with 11 assists, the veteran leader seemed to struggle more with the trip home than the Universitesi defense.

Hatay are many people's favorites to go all the way in the competition and they made no mistake against Energa Torun with a 66-58 win to go 6-0.

Now into the Round of 16, they will prove a tough nut to crack for any opponent.

Linked to this, it was perhaps the sentiment for Good Angels Kosice star Devereaux Peters enjoying her team's leap past the Play-Offs Round 1.

The narrow 59-56 win at MBK Ruzomberok proved just enough as the Slovak Republic side took the last berth in the Round of 16.

For some clubs, it was a must-win situation and the first game of the final day took place in snowy
Krasnoyarsk where Enisey did what they had to do against the high-flying Mersin.

Basket 90 Gdynia are also going to be there too, surviving a major scare as Agu Spor missed a pair of free-throws with 1 second left on the game clock to take a 58-57 victory.

"I think it was exciting game for us and the fans," reflected Kahleah Copper, who starred with 27 points.

"We've got to thank our coaches, because this week, they challenged us to be able to defend better. There were stretches in this game when we were really defending well and turning our defense into offense.

"I am proud of my team and my coaches," concluded the forward.
