    EuroCup Women Play-Off Round 1 field set

    MUNICH (EuroCup Women) – The EuroCup Women Regular Season concluded on Thursday evening, with 24 teams set to continue their European season.

    MUNICH (EuroCup Women) – The EuroCup Women Regular Season concluded on Thursday evening, with 24 teams set to continue their European season.

    At the completion of Thursday night action, the top two teams from each of the 10 Regular Season groups, as well as the two-best third-placed teams from each of the two conferences (Groups A-E and Groups F-J) were ranked, based on their record in the Regular Season.

    For the top eight ranked teams, they earned direct qualification to the Round of 16, where they will meet the eight teams who make it through Play-Off Round 1.

    The top eight teams are:
    1. Reyer Venezia (ITA)
    2. Virtus Eirene (ITA)
    3. Carolo Basket (FRA)
    4. Hatay BB (TUR)
    5. Sleza Wroclaw (POL)
    6. TTT Riga (LAT)
    7. Spar Citylift Girona (ESP)
    8. Good Angels Kosice (SVK)

    Meanwhile, the remaining 16 teams will compete in Play-Off Round 1, with the pairings decided, based on the rankings of the teams following Thursday night.

    The pairings are:

    9. Basket Landes (FRA) v 24. Elfic Fribourg (SUI)
    10. Olympiacos (GRE) v 23. ACS Sepsi (ROU)
    11. Mersin (TUR) v 22. MBA Moscow (RUS)
    12. KSC Szekszard (HUN) v 21. CMB Cargo Uni Gyor (HUN)
    13. Namur Capitale (BEL) v 20. Enisey Krasnoyarsk (RUS)
    14. Artego Bydgoszcz (POL) v 19. Aluinvent DVTK Miskolc (HUN)
    15. Basket 90 Gdynia (POL) v 18. Umea Udominate (SWE)
    16. TSV 1880 Wasserburg (GER) v 17. Saint-Amand (FRA)


    Play-Off Round 1 will be played in a home-and-way format, with the lower-seeded team playing at home first. The first-leg games are scheduled for December 14, with the return legs scheduled for one week later.

    The Round of 16 will also be played in a home-and-away format in the first two weeks of January.
