Vasin returns to familiar faces with Russia

The playcaller has retained faith in the players who took Russia through the Qualifiers unbeaten, while there is also what some may consider as a surprise recall for veteran Irina Osipova.

Dynamo Kursk combo guard Epiphanny Prince looks set to continue in the naturalized role, while the rest of the list is headlined by teenage star Maria Vadeeva and WNBA champion, Evgenia Belyakova.
Every player in the squad competes in the Russian Premier League, with the exception of Raisa Musina who plays with CCC Polkowice in Poland.
Vasin and the players will attend their first training camp on Monday, 8 May, with Russia preparing to face Belgium, Latvia and Montenegro in Group D.
