PRAGUE (FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017) - Italian ace Cecilia Zandalasini enhanced her burgeoning reputation after taking Top Performer honors on the penultimate day of The Final Round.

While she had to endure an agonizing 68-67 loss to Latvia in the fight for a ticket to the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2018, Zandalasini was on-fire and almost sealed the deal for her team. She finished with 25 points and 14 rebounds for an efficiency rating of 26.

In contrast, Kristine Vitola was celebrating a slice of history for Latvia as they wrapped up their maiden spot at the event in Spain next year. She registered 15 points and 8 rebounds.

Turkey took the last remaining berth on offer with a 72-56 win against Slovak Republic as Tugce Canitez recorded her best performance of the tournament. The forward harvested 15 points and 8 rebounds.

Isil Alben excelled in the backcourt for Turkey with an all-action 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.

Alba Torrens showed why she is a frontrunner for MVP after taking Spain into the Final, as they cut down Belgium 68-52, with the winger collecting a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds.
