    Rosters confirmed on the eve of FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017

    PRAGUE / HRADEC KRALOVE (FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017) – The finalized rosters of the 16 participating teams at FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017 have been verified and confirmed.

    PRAGUE / HRADEC KRALOVE (FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017) – The finalized rosters of the 16 participating teams at FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017 have been verified and confirmed.

    With the tournament set to tip-off in the Czech cities of Hradec Kralove and Prague on Friday, June 16, all rosters have been trimmed to 12 players.

    Group action will take place from June 16 to June 19, with the top team from each group earning a direct ticket to the Quarter-Finals. They will be joined by a further four teams from the Qualification for the Quarter-Finals on June 20. The Final Phase begins in Prague Arena two days later with the crowning of the European champions coming on June 25.

    Serbia will attempt to become the first team to defend their title since the Soviet Union in 1991. The top-five-finishing teams will gain qualification to the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2018. If 2018 hosts Spain finish in the top five positions, then the sixth-placed team will also earn their ticket to the World Cup.
