Here is a look at the top five players who shined for their teams on Gameday 3.
Miro Bilan of Croatia, Georgian Giorgi Shermadini, Israeli Tamir Blatt, Gabriel Lundberg of Denmark and Poland's Michal Sokolowski make up the Team of Gameday 3 in the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers.
The highest efficiency of 37 went to the calm and collected Croatian Bilan, who tallied 30 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists in his team's 79-62 victory over Turkey.
Shermadini gave Bilan a run for his money with his impressive showing in Georgia's hard-fought 91-85 win over Finland as he had 27 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists for an efficiency value of 33.
Israel's 95-87 upset of Spain was one of the big stories of the gameday and leading the way for the Israelis was Blatt, who put together an efficiency of 31 as he scored 21 points with 9 assists.
An even bigger surprise was Denmark defeating Lithuania 80-76 and pacing the Danes was Lundberg with his efficiency of 28 thanks to 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
And rounding out the top five was Sokolowski of Poland with his 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals for an efficiency of 28 in a 91-71 blowout of Romania.
FIBA
