Meanwhile, Mike Tobey helped Slovenia to an opening 92-85 triumph over Lithuania in a thrilling Group B clash after finishing with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks to earn a spot in the lineup.
Shane Larkin takes up a spot in the backcourt with a strong showing of 18 points, 7 assists and 2 steals to help lead Turkey past Montenegro in a dramatic 72-68 victory to get their campaign up and running.
