    Ukraine surprise Georgia to get into the win column

    TEL AVIV (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Ukraine joined the win column at the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 by surprising Georgia 88-81 in Group B in Tel Aviv.

    TEL AVIV (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Ukraine picked up their first victory of FIBA EuroBasket 2017 by surprising Georgia 88-81 in Group B in Tel Aviv. 

    Despite captain Viacheslav Kravtsov being unable to play due to a bad back, Ukraine improved to 1-2 as Artem Pustovyi collected 19 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and two blocks while Denys Lukashov picked up 17 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Georgia got 17 points from Zaza Pachulia but they saw Ukraine pull away in the second quarter and were never able to get all the way back into the game. Georgia are also 1-2 in the group.
