TEL AVIV (FIBA EuroBasket 2017 Trophy Tour) - With a visit to Tel Aviv over the weekend, the FIBA EuroBasket Trophy Tour ticked off all four of the 2017 host cities.

With less than two weeks until tip-off, the trip to Israel left just Athens to come, with a second trip to Istanbul also planned.

The tour also visited Jerusalem, taking in world-famous sites such as the Wailing Wall.

Following on from the sightseeing trip, accompanied by Sam Dunk, the trophy was on display at a preparation game against fellow host nation, Turkey.

"As one of the host teams of FIBA EuroBasket 2017, we are very happy and proud to have the Trophy Tour here, especially in our friendly game against fellow hosts Turkey," exclaimed Israeli Basketball Federation President Amiram Halevy.

"We are happy that through the Trophy Tour, people in Europe and all over the world can see our beautiful country.

"I want to thank FIBA for the opportunity to have the Trophy Tour in Israel, and show it to our basketball fans."
