Lithuania book passage to Istanbul with blowout of Ukraine

TEL AVIV (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Lithuania advanced to the Final Phase of the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 with a 94-62 blowout victory over Ukraine in Group B in Tel Aviv. 

Lithuania saw a 17-point lead after 10 minutes cut to five midway through the second quarter but turned on the after-burners in improving to 3-1 in the group. Jonas Valanciunas led the way with 22 points and 14 rebounds while Mantas Kalnietis chipped in 10 points and 11 assists.

Ukraine dropped to 1-3 in the group despite 29 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals from Artem Pustovyi. The Ukrainians are still alive for a spot in the Round of 16.
