    Hanga flirts with a triple-double, leads Hungary to first FIBA EuroBasket win in 48 years

    CLUJ-NAPOCA (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - The drought is all over now. Hungary have celebrated their first win at FIBA EuroBasket since 1969, dealing an 85-73 blow to Czech Republic. Both teams stand at 1-2.

    Adam Hanga was close to a triple-double, putting up 31 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists on the scoreboard. David Vojvoda had 18 points, Zoltan Perl continued his fine form in Romania with 12 points off the bench.

    Tomas Satoransky and Lukas Palyza scored 18 each for Czech Republic, but to no avail. Czech Republic still have to face Montenegro and Croatia, Hungary will play against Romania and Spain in the last two group games.
