The visit took place across October 23-27 in the latest phase of the program that began back in July, 2021 as part of the EU's Erasmus+ scheme with the aim of providing opportunities to the next generation of coaches and referees.

FIBA Hall of Fame inductee Natalia Hejkova is one of two FIBA Europe coaching mentors and a new group of coaches were able to shadow the ZVVZ USK Praha head coach through preparations for their EuroLeague Women opener.

Korana Longin of Croatia, Vesna Dzuver of Serbia, Alina Serban of Romania and Milda Sauliute of Lithuania were the coaches selected from the 2022 edition of the Women's Basketball Summit in Slovenia for the one-year mentoring program.

The previous visit to Prague took place in October, 2021 as the program moved onto in-person visits following a series of virtual webinars.

The next activation takes the coaches to Turkey for a scheduled visit to Fenerbahce with Marina Maljkovic in 2023.
