Malonga averaged a double-double in the Quarter-Finals

The ASVEL star takes the honor for the second time this season.

MUNICH (Germany) - Rising star Dominique Malonga has had her outstanding performances with LDLC ASVEL Feminin recognised by being crowned EuroCup Women MVP for February.

The French teenager lands the award for the second time this season, having also scooped the November MVP honor.

Malonga recorded a brilliant double-double during the period of 20.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game, also handing out 2.0 assists per outing. This led to a super performance efficiency valuation average of 27.0 for the month.

Her stellar work helped the French club continue in their quest to win more EuroCup Women silverware - just two years after becoming champions.

Malonga put Spar Girona to the sword with a couple of powerful displays in the Quarter-Finals that sent her side into the last four of the competition.

The center turned heads in the first meeting between the teams, despite ASVEL being edged out 77-72. Malonga stepped off court having registered 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Then in the return game, she stood up tall with another double-double as ASVEL swept past Girona 72-51, largely due to her 18 points and 14 boards.
