These were the players with the best performances for their respective nations during the November slate of games.

MIAMI (United States) – Window 2 of the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup Qualifiers brought solid showings from several players. Some of them guided their teams to victory, while others proved that they’re performing at a very high level. What’s clear is that these guys will be key parts of their respective national teams during the February window that will determine all the teams who qualify for next year’s tournament. These are the most valuable players of Window 2:

ARG: Gonzalo Corbalán - Shooting Guard

Besides the 2 wins, Corbalan’s performance was the best news for Argentina. The 22-year-old, currently playing for San Pablo Burgos in Spain, sent a clear message to head coach Pablo Prigioni that he’s ready for a bigger role on the team. In the victories over Venezuela and Colombia, the shooting guard averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds.

    BAH: Tavario Miller - Foward

Miller, one of the highest-rated players on the Bahamian squad, showed that he’s on a hot streak. Despite not being able to help his country beat Cuba or United States, the forward tried his best and averaged 18.5 points with 9.0 rebounds.

BRA: Joao Cardoso - Power Foward

"Maozinha" came off the bench during both games against Panama and Uruguay and was a true sparkplug for Brazil in the 2 victories. He even had the highest efficiency rating of the whole window (38) against Panama. The Memphis Hustle (NBA G League) player averaged 17.0 points on a torrid 86 percent from the field (13-for-15), 12.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks. He did all of this in 22.5 minutes of action.

    CAN: Mfiondu Kabengele - Center

Making his debut on the senior team, Kabengele showed he can be an important piece going forward. The center, currently playing for Venezia in Italy but with previous stops in the NBA and G-League, looked very solid while averaging close a double-double against Mexico and Dominican Republic. He finished with 16.0 points, 9.0 rebounds plus a block and a steal per game.

    CHI: Manuel Suárez - Center

Suárez wasn’t as dominant as he was during Window 1, when he led his team in efficiency, but remained their most consistent player across the loss against Colombia and the comfortable win over Venezuela. The 31-year-old averaged 12.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks.

COL: Hansel Atencia - Point Guard

His game is usually about conducting the offense and he delivered once again. In their big win over Chile on the road, he was crucial with 18 points and 4 assists. Then, in the loss to Argentina, he had 10 points and 6 dimes to finish the window with averages of 14.0 points, 5.0 assists and 2.5 steals.

CUB: Reynaldo García - Point Guard

After his debut during the last window, the point guard had 2 solid outings (against Bahamas and Puerto Rico) to establish himself as a fixture on the team. On offense, he averaged 15.0 points and 4.0 assists, while on defense he shined with 5.5 steals (7 against the boricuas).

DOM: Víctor Liz - Shooting Guard

The 38-year-old Liz is still shining bright for the Dominican cause. In the absence of many of their best players, the veteran shooting guard carried the offensive load and led the team in the games against Canada and Nicaragua. He averaged 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals.

    MEX: Gael Bonilla - Foward

Bonilla did a bit of everything for Mexico, who defeated Nicaragua before losing to Canada. The 21-year-old forward keeps growing at a fast pace, and finished with averages of 15.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.5 blocks.

    NCA: Josmel Martínez - Foward

The AmeriCup hosts still haven’t been able to get a win but keep growing and working toward their objective of being more competitive. Now, besides Jared Ruiz, they got great production from Martínez, who was clearly their best player of the window. In the losses against Mexico and Dominican Republic, the forward averaged 22.5 points and shot a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc. He added 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals.

    PAN: Ricardo Lindo - Foward

The forward was Panama’s best player during the first window and, despite good performances from Iverson Molinar and Trevor Gaskins, proved his consistency. In the win over Paraguay and the loss to Brazil, he generated 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals.

PAR: Fernando Dose - Power Foward

The team captain was the most productive player on a team that had a lot of trouble scoring and still hasn’t been able to get a victory under this new system of qualification. Dose averaged 12.5 points (53 percent from the field) and 7.0 rebounds in the losses against Panama and Uruguay.

PUR: Tjader Fernández - Point Guard

During this window, Puerto Rico lost against United States and then picked up a huge win on the road in Cuba. The boricuas relied on their team play and didn’t have a player that stood out, but Fernandez proved to be their most consistent asset, finishing with averages of 10.0 points, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals.

URU: Nicola Pomoli - Shooting Guard

The forward is used to a bigger role on offense for his club team in Argentina (Instituto), but here he got to show another facet of his game for Uruguay. In the loss to Brazil and the win over Paraguay, he proved his consistency with averages of 9.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals.

USA: Javonte Smart - Shooting Guard

Smart put on his country’s jersey for the first team and did it at a very high level to guide USA to wins over Puerto Rico and Bahamas. The shooting guard was perfect on two-pointers (10-for-10) and shot 5-for-11 from beyond the arc across both games. He averaged 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

    VEN: Anyelo Cisneros - Foward

Venezuela has few things to salvage from this window after losing by double digits to Argentina and Chile. Cisneros, who played his first games for the national team since 2021, showed he can be part of the rotation going forward – especially during this changing of the guard. The forward averaged 7.5 points (on 78 percent from the field) and 4.0 rebounds. FIBA
