    The summer tournaments will run from July 4 through to August 23.

    FREISING (Germany) - The draw for the FIBA Youth EuroBasket 2025 tournaments was completed in Freising, Germany on Tuesday.

    FIBA Europe President Jorge Garbajosa opened the ceremony to welcome the guests and national federation representatives, with FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak also in attendance.

    A total of 249 teams - comprised of 48 different national federations - will compete across the 16 tournaments this summer, with the action set to begin with FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, Division B on July 4.

    The host cities in Lithuania for that event have now been confirmed as Alytus and Vilnius, while the change from Prishtina to Peja for the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket, Division C from July 8-13 has been approved by the Executive Committee.

    Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket, Division B tournament will take place in the city of Istanbul, Türkiye with the revised dates of August 20-29.

    Serbia's Aleksandra Crvendakic - a FIBA Women's EuroBasket winner in 2021 - and retired Spanish international Victor Claver - winner of three FIBA EuroBasket titles as well as the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 - were the special guests helping out with the draw proceedings.
