Czechia's qualification for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 marks their 7th overall appearance in the continental showcase. They have long grown out of the shadows from their time competing under the Czechoslovakia flag.

After first competing as Czechia in 1993, the country reached the EuroBasket for the first time in 1999 and a second appearance followed in 2007. But they have now become regulars on the big stage with a fifth consecutive EuroBasket ticket.

Czechia's best finish came in 2015 when Jan Vesely and Tomas Satoransky carried the team into the Quarter-Finals, only to lose to Serbia and ended up taking seventh place.

    Best finish: 7th - 2015
