BEIRUT (Lebanon) - Coaches in Bahrain now look forward to more learning experiences following a successful coaching clinic in Manama.
The Level 1 course was held last 7-12 July, made possible thanks to the efforts of the FIBA Regional Office-Asia and the Bahrain Basketball Association.
Coach Milan Kotarac taught the 15 participants that attended the seminar, which began with classroom sessions and was followed by on-court work.
"I benefited a lot from it," said attendee Husain Shaker. "Coach was amazing during the whole week making things fun while we were learning."
"Learning on and off the court was the main goal for us and Milan made it during the course. Excited to take Level 2 to know more things in detail," he added.
Another participant in Mohamed Haji was as grateful with all the lessons he received from Kotarac and the entire coaching clinic.
"A big applause to the FIBA instructor Coach Milan for the valuable information, and special thanks to FIBA for their assistance in developing coaches all around the world," he expressed.
"I got valuable information and learned many things that I didn't know before about as a player and as a coach," he added.
These coaching courses are part of the Regional Office’s continuous efforts to improve the National Federations, including the bench tacticians, who are undeniably an integral part of basketball games.
