China U24 win FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Debrecen

DEBRECEN (Hungary) - China U24 won the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2024 Debrecen Stop.

Yuting Deng was unstoppable in the decisive game from Debrecen, with 11 points, five rebounds and five highlights and was named MVP of the tournament. She was second in P-Val and points scored, behind her opponent from the final, Kateřina Galíčková.

China U24 finished the tournament undefeated and stood on top of the field in both points scored, with 21 per game and points allowed, with 14 per game.

The tournament ending injury suffered by Alžběta Levínská in the quarter finals didn’t hold back Czechia, who passed Logrono Central, 21-10 on their way to the first final of the season. Galíčková had a memorable game against the Spanish side, with 10 points, two key assists and two highlights.  

After making at least the semifinals for the last four consecutive stops, Czechia find themselves now among the best teams of 2024.

Mongolia saw their hopes to reach the Hangzhou Final vanishing in the quarter finals, after a disappointing loss to the home crowd favorites Debrecen, final score 21-16. Angelina Kiss was too much to handle for the Mongolians, finishing with one of the best individual performances of the tournament, 13 points and five rebounds.

After 19 stops, it’s now time to see who will be crowned the 2024 FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Champion. Canada it’s chasing the three-peat but there are seven contenders ready to go all the way in Hangzhou Final. Follow us in less than two weeks for the outcome of this season.
