CHA - 2008 Olympic Solidarity Coaching Clinic reports

CHAD (Olympic Solidarity Basketball Coaching Clinic) - The Olympic Solidarity Technical course for coaches was held in N’Djamena from 17 to 25 July, 2008 under the direction of M. Claude Constantino. It was a “Young Coach” Level II clinic.

The opening ceremony of the course was held on July 17 with the president of the National Federation and all the members. Political representatives were also invited.

The 16 participants came from N’Djamena and other parts of Chad. The theoretical and practical courses were given from 8 to 12 am and from 3 to 6 pm at the Idriss Mahamat Ouya Stadium in N’Djamena.

July 23rd was entirely dedicated to the examination according to FIBA Africa standards. The following day, during the closing ceremony, diplomas were delivered to the eleven coaches who succeeded. M. Constantino really wants to thank the Chadian National Olympic Committee and the Chadian National Basketball Federation for all the efforts involved in that successful course.
