    PANAMA (Centrobasket) – Puerto Rico captured its second win of the 2016 Centrobasket Championship by defeating Cuba, 101 – 69, in a game with Semifinal implications.

    • Turning Point: After winning the first quarter by two points, the Boricuas found their range from three-point land and created a 26 – 14 second quarter, to establish the lead that led to the Puerto Rican victory.

    • Stats don’t lie: Puerto Rico shot for a 43% from three-point land and won the rebounding battle 41-36.

    • Game Hero: Mike Rosario was the top scorer with the Boricuas with 25 points.

    • The Bottom Line: Puerto Rico earned its second victory and thinking of a possible three-way tie, the Boricuas added as many points possible in a blow-out victory over Cuba. Tomorrow on the last day of the group phase, Puerto Rico will face Antigua. Meanwhile, in a game with huge semifinals implications Cuba will face the host, Panama.
