    Bidding farewell

24-year veteran Asi Taulava officially closed the curtains on his professional career, receiving an honorary ceremony at the Philsports Arena - right where he played his first Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) game on 7 February, 1999.

    ...

The 50-year-old has many highlights throughout his entire career, including a PBA title and MVP award in 2003, 17 All-Star appearances, and much more. Taulava has also been feature on several national team squads, including the Asia Cup 2015 silver medal team.

    On a tear

Yuki Kawamura will be ending the 2023 calendar year on a high note - as if playing an integral part at the World Cup to get Japan to the Olympic Games next year wasn't enough. He's on pace to lead the league in scoring among all players and had just hit another milestone on 9 December when he reached the 2,000-point milestone.

    Higher than high

The Hasan brothers are at it again!

Mohammad Hasan started the season with his WASL-Gulf career-high of 15 points in the first game day. Then he followed that up with a new career-high in his first 20-point game in following week.

Come this week, not only did Mohammad reset his career-high once again, it was also the most points so far scored in a single WASL-Gulf game by any player. The 23-year-old scored 36 points on 8 three-pointers. Take a bow, young fellow.
