    RIO DE JANEIRO (FIBA Americas championship) - Brazil coach Moncho Monsalve is expected to have a team loaded with experience at the FIBA Americas Championship this year but don't be surprised if some of the youngsters that played at last year's FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament are in the squad as well.

    Fringe players looking to impress and earn spots in the national team have been named by Monsalve in an 18-man squad that will compete in the International Tournament of Almada from July 10-12, the Lusofonia Games in Portugal from July 14-19 and the Super Four Tournament in Argentina from August 1-3.

    Newcomers to the set-up include point guards Raul Togni Neto and Vitor Benite, shooting guard José Roberto Duarte (Betinho), forward/center Jordan Burger and centers Rafael Sousa (Mineiro) and Bruno Fiorotto.

    The squad that will compete at the FIBA Americas Championship (August 26 to September 6) will be named on July 13.
