MUNICH (Germany) - The FIBA Europe Cup Finals are now set after Bilbao Basket and PAOK mateco came through thrilling last four matchups.
Both teams overturned contrasting first leg deficits in the Semi-Finals as they now meet in a two-legged showdown to determine the 2024-25 champions.
Bilbao pulled off an incredible comeback from losing the first leg by 19 points as they defeated JDA Bourgogne Dijon behind a dominant 41-point fourth quarter effort to seal a 155-145 aggregate victory.
Meanwhile, PAOK needed overtime to see off former runners-up Cholet Basket as their dramatic two-point road success secured an overall 178-177 triumph.
A new name on the trophy is guaranteed, while the two teams also become the first clubs from their respective countries to reach the Finals of the competition.
The first leg of the Finals will be played in Bilbao, Spain, on April 16, before the return leg takes place in Thessaloniki, Greece, a week later on April 23, with home advantage based on the rankings of the Second Round.
