LAS VEGAS (USA) - Having stepped out at the recent FIBA U18 Women's European Championship 2023 in Konya, Belgian rising star Louann Battison headed Stateside to pick up MVP honors at the BWB Global Camp.

A total of 34 players from 22 different countries participated in what was a unique experience in Las Vegas as it was the first ever all-girls global camp, with the boys equivalent having taken place earlier in the year.

The participating campers were coached by several former players and coaches including the likes of Tamera Young, Taj McWilliams-Franklin, Ticha Penicheiro, Ruth Riley and Monica Wright-Rogers - all under the watchful eye of Camp Director, Allison Feaster.

They led the campers through a variety of activities, including anthropometric and athletic testing, movement efficiency, skill development stations, shooting and skills competitions, life skills seminars and 5-on-5 games.

A ceremony on the last day of the camp was held to distribute awards to those attendees who distinguished themselves on the court and as leaders.

It was Battison who took the main MVP honor and she also impressed with her shooting prowess by adding to her accolades with the Three-Point Champion award also.
