The action resumes and that also includes our prediction game - with the expert now level with the fans.

    The official EuroLeague Women app

MUNICH (Germany) - It's the third week of the brand new EuroLeague Women Second Round phase and there's loads to look forward to as the clubs jump back into the roller-coaster race for the Final Six.

One of only two teams still to taste defeat, Fenerbahce Opet will be looking to start the new calendar year where they left off in 2024. But they will be put to the test against a similarly star-studded Valencia Basket Club who have only lost once themselves as each club eyes up a place in the next stage of the competition.

As well as checking out this 'Game of the Week' - available exclusively live and free on DAZN - there are another four matchups to enjoy, while we also get to continue playing our nail-biting 'Beat the Expert' game.

    The Expert vs Leo Rodriguez

Each week our FIBA women's basketball specialist and resident EuroLeague Women expert Paul Nilsen faces a different guest challenger in our prediction game.

For this latest week, he's up against the recently retired Leonor Rodriguez, who knows EuroLeague Women inside-out having competed for many seasons in the competition - most notably with Perfumerias Avenida. With 130 appearances for Spain and a stack of medals, will her expertise get the guests back on track and into the race?

    The scores so far

It's been a thrilling race and after weeks and weeks in the lead, the fans have finally been reeled back in by the expert. Paul has now drawn level and it looks like being a two-horse race, but a couple of perfect weeks for the guests and they could maybe creep back into contention.
