CHEATHAM JR IS IN A GREAT RHYTHM

Since the start of February, Pallacanestro Reggiana's Kwan Cheatham Jr has been on a roll. It started on February 4 against Aliaga Petkimspor, when he dropped 20 points and 7 rebounds on 54 percent shooting.

That effort was enough to earn him 21 efficiency points as well. Reggiana won the game in overtime, with Cheatham Jr's scoring punch being vital to the outcome.

Straight after the international break on March 5, he got back to work with another 19 points and again shooting 54 percent against BAXI Manresa, and again helping Reggiana to an 85-70 win.

He followed that with 13 points and 3 rebounds on 62.5 percent shooting against La Laguna Tenerife on March 12, and another 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists against Manresa in the return fixture on March 18.

The final game of the Round of 16 against Petkimspor on March 25 saw a rare quiet night as he scored 10 points, dished 2 assists, and pulled 3 rebounds on his way to just 8 efficiency points, his lowest since his hot streak began in February.

Like a balloon being held under water, Cheatham Jr was ready to pop straight back up to his consistent levels as soon as the Quarter-Finals began.

Unicaja dominated Game 1 at home last week and came up with a 105-68 win, but Cheatham Jr provided one of the only bright sparks for Reggiana with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists on his way to 20 efficiency points.

Kwan Cheatham Jr was a cheatcode against Petkimspor

According to Opta Stats, Kwan Cheatham Jr has scored 10+ points in each of his last six BCL games, averaging 16.2 points per game in that run, after reaching double digits in scoring in only one of his first nine games (7.8 points per game on average).

If we include the Italian Serie A, the run looks even stronger.

He has scored 10 or more points in 12 of his last 15 games across all competitions and 15 or more points in 7 of those games. His scoring average since the start fo February has jumped to 12.8 points across all competitions, 2.1 points higher than his season average of 10.7.

When it comes to finding value in the BCL Fantasy Game, efficiency points are where we need to look first. Cheatham Jr is a steal at just 9.8 efficiency points, especially when you consider his average across his last six games is up to 14.

With the Quarter-Finals series between Unicaja and Reggiana now moving back to Italy this Tuesday, Cheatham Jr should feel even more comfortable and in-rhythm to continue his scoring run.

Costing you just 9.8 efficiency points means that you have 45.2 points to spend on your other 4 roster spots.

That works out at 11.3 efficiency points per player but in reality it probably affords you the ability to add two other premium players to your roster on top of Cheatham Jr and could be the exact what you need to help you get a better chance of promotion through divisions or even better, get the bragging rights in your group of other BCL Fantasy game contestants.
