    Game of the Week: Will Rytas stay alive in Season Seven?

    The final Game of the Week of the Basketball Champions League regular season comes from Group H between Rytas Vilnius (2-3) and Lenovo Tenerife (4-1). Pressure is on Rytas as they are trying to advance.


    VILNIUS (Lithuania) - The final Game of the Week of the Basketball Champions League regular season comes from Group H between Rytas Vilnius (2-3) and Lenovo Tenerife (4-1). The pressure is on Rytas, as they are still looking to advance to the Play-In.

    Tenerife have already locked up first place in the group and are through to the Round of 16. Rytas, on the other hand, still have a wide range of possible outcomes in the standings. They can finish second, third or even fourth and end up being eliminated from the competition.

    third: with a win, if Bnei Ofek Dist Herzliya defeat Peristeri bwin
    third: with a loss, if Bnei Ofek Dist Herzliya defeat Peristeri bwin

    Rytas have alternated between wins and losses in their last six home games in the BCL, losing the most recent one 101-90 v Herzliya; they have conceded 80+ points in three of their last four home games, after never conceding that much in their previous five. Marcus Foster has been Rytas' top scorer in four of their five BCL games this season, including in the last game against Tenerife (21 points); Foster has scored at least 24 points in each of his last two home games in the BCL after never reaching that mark in any of his previous 10 home games. Tenerife have won 15 of their last 16 BCL games, a run that includes three wins against Rytas by margins of at least 14 points (89-75 - February 2022, 83-64 - March 2022, 89-74 - October 2022); Tenerife's last three wins in the BCL come with margins of 20+ points and conceding fewer than 65 points in each of those games.
