Play-Offs pairings set in Basketball Champions League

MIES (Switzerland) - The Basketball Champions League Play-Offs pairings were confirmed during a draw on Friday at the House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland.

Here are the results of the draw:

Amongst those in attendance were FIBA officials, members of the Basketball Champions League Board, ULEB President Tomas Van Den Spiegel, and representatives of the qualified teams. They were joined by a number of recognisable basketball alumni, including Italy’s Antonello Riva and Miki Berkovich from Israel. Both were on stage to assist with the Draw.

Draw for the Round of 16

Games will be played over two rounds (Mar 5/6 and 12/13) on head-to-head format.

The teams having finished 1st and 2nd of their Regular Season group are seeded and will play the second leg of the Round of 16 at home. The teams having finished 3rd and 4th of their Regular Season group are unseeded and will play the first leg of the Round of 16 at home.

Draw for the Quarter-Finals

Games will be played over two rounds (Mar 26/27 and Apr 2/3) on head-to-head format.

The pairings 5-8 (Pot 4 vs Pot 1) are seeded and will play the second leg of the Quarter-Finals at home. The pairings 1-4 (Pot 3 vs Pot 2) are unseeded and will play the first leg of the Quarter-Finals at home.

The four teams to advance from the Quarter-Finals will meet in the Final Four on May 3-5. The location will be announced after completion of the Quarter-Finals, early April. An additional draw will determine the Semi-Finals and will take place in the Final Four host city the following week.
