    Follow-up 3 July 2012 In view of the fact that the club Athinaikos Sony Athens continues to be in breach of its obligation to honour the BAT award, FIBA imposed a ban on registration of new players on Athinaikos Sony Athens.

    Following FIBA’s intervention, the club Athinaikos Sony Athens honoured the BAT award and paid the adjudicated amounts to the claimant. As a result, FIBA lifted the ban on registration of new players which was imposed on the club Athinaikos Sony Athens on 3 July 2012.

    Summary of the case:
    The Czech player Katerina Zohnova filed a claim against the Greek club Athinaikos Sony Athens for outstanding salaries. According to Article 16.2 of the BAT Rules, the Arbitrator issued an award without reasons.
