VOTE: Who will qualify for the World Cup from the Americas Qualifiers?
MIAMI (United States) - Window 5 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers will feature 12 teams continuing the quest for the seven available spots from the region at the World Cup in 2023.
MIAMI (United States) - Window 5 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers will feature 12 teams continuing their quest for the seven available spots from the region at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
There will be a total of 12 games played from November 10-14 with an off day on November 12. Each team will play two games in the upcoming Window 5 with Group E games being played on November 10 and 13 and Group F games being played on November 11 and 14.
No national teams from the Americas have officially qualified for the World Cup yet, but some teams are closer than others and on the cusp of qualifying to next year's event, including current Group E leader Canada (8-0) and current Group F leader USA (7-1).
A couple teams have been a surprise so far and still have a chance to qualify such as Uruguay (5-3) in Group F, as they pulled off an important 78-70 upset victory over Puerto Rico in Window 4 in August.
With all that in mind, check out the current standings in Groups E and F below before Window 5 starts, and then vote for who you think will qualify from the Americas from each group.
