    Two World Cup tickets left for Africa, who can qualify on Saturday, February 25?

    Following the historic qualifications of South Sudan and Egypt for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup on Friday in Alexandria, there are still two spots available for African countries. Where do they go?

     

    ALEXANDRIA/LUANDA (Egypt/Angola) - Following the historic qualifications of South Sudan and Egypt for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup on Friday in Alexandria, there are still two spots available for African countries.

    Can those two slots be determined on Saturday, February 25?

    To qualify for the World Cup teams must finish in first and second places of Groups E and F of the African Qualifiers. Those teams will then be joined by best third-placed team from across both groups to complete the five-team lineup from Africa for the World Cup.
