    Tickets for Window 2 of the World Cup African Qualifiers in Dakar go on sale

    DAKAR (Senegal) - Tickets for Window 2 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers that will take place in the Senegal capital of Dakar will be available from Saturday, February 19.

     

    DAKAR (Senegal) - Tickets for Window 2 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers that will take place in the Senegal capital of Dakar will be available from Saturday, February 19, the Senegalese Basketball Federation (FSBB) announced.  

    According to FSBB, tickets for the three-day event running from February 25-27 will be available online (FSBB channels) from Saturday, February 19 and at Box Offices at Marius Ndiaye Stadium and Dakar Arena from Monday, February 21. 

    Tickets per game will be priced as follows: 
    Tribune Jaune: CFA 1,500
    Tribune Rounge: CFA 3,000
    Tribune Vert foncé: CFA 5,000
    Verd Clair VIP: CFA 10,000
    Loge: CFA 100,000

    Participating teams are as follows: Groups B: Cameroon, Rwanda, Tunisia and South Sudan and Group D: DR Congo, Egypt, Kenya and Senegal.

    All twelve games will take place at Dakar Arena from February 25-27.

    The 16-nation FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers began with the first round of Groups A and C in November 2021 in Benguela, Angola, and will extend for six Qualifying Windows until February 2023.

    The teams that finish in the top three places from Groups A,B, C and D, advance to the Second Round of the African Qualifiers, where teams will be divided into Groups E and F.

    And the teams that finish in the top five places of the African Qualifiers will represent Africa at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 to be held in Indonesia, Japan and Philippines.

    The 10,000-capacity Dakar Arena last hosted a  major FIBA tournament when Angola hosted the 2019 FIBA Women's AfroBasket
