While national team captain Robin Benzing is also on the list, back in the mix is Tibor Pleiss, who left Germany during the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 Qualifiers and was not in the training camp for the Final Round this past summer.

In addition to Bonga, Dominic Lockhart, Andreas Obst, and Joshiko Saibou would also be making their senior national team debuts should they play in the Qualifiers.

Germany will host Georgia on November 24 in Chemnitz and then play at Austria on November 27 in Group G action.
