BEIRUT (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers) - Some 7,000 screaming fans will witness Lebanon take on New Zealand in the final window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers.
This means the Nouhad Nawfal Sports Complex in Zouk Mikael will be bouncing and rocking on Friday, as the Cedars fight to stay alive for World Cup qualification against the Tall Blacks

Lebanon carry a 6-win, 4-loss slate and will be hosting the Tall Blacks tomorrow, 22 February. New Zealand have already qualified to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 after booking their eighth and ninth wins in the previous window.
Lebanon need to win against New Zealand to put further separation against Jordan, who are right behind them in Group E with 5 wins and 5 defeats. A win will also potentially catapult Lebanon to the top three in Group E, giving them the inside track to punching their World Cup tickets.
The Cedars, however, will have another punishing foe when they finish their Asian Qualifiers campaign on 24 February as they take on long-time rivals Korea. That game will also be at the Nouhad Nawfal Sports Complex, and don't be shocked if it will also be a full house.
Lebanese fans cannot seem to wait for the games to begin, with support pouring in from all over social media.
