    Bahrain set to host second Asian Mini Basketball Convention

    Bahrain is set to host the 2nd edition of the Asian Mini Basketball Convention in just 2 weeks from 21 to 23 November, following the great success of the first convention hosted in Sri Lanka.

    Bahrain is set to host the 2nd edition of the Asian Mini Basketball Convention in just 2 weeks from 21 to 23 November, following the great success of the first convention hosted in Sri Lanka.

    23 International Delegates from all over Asia will be taking part in the event, eager to learn how to further the Mini Basketball movement for their respective National Federations. They will attend both an on court coaches clinic and a conference, learning from different experts.The following countries will be represented: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Chinese Taipei, India, Iran, Iraq, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Turkmenistan, UAE, Yemen

    Furthermore, over 300 kids from Bahrain will take part in the Jamboree and be introduced to basketball in a fun and playful way.

    IBF President Horacio Muratore stated, "We are very pleased to have so many representatives from such a wide region traveling to Bahrain to take part in this Mini Basketball convention. We are keen to give them the inspiration and the tools for them to go back to their respective countries and organize their own Mini Basketball events and grow our sport"
