THE TEAMS
Austria (Men)
It was gonna be a big ask for the Austrians. A tough game to start day 2 against Switzerland saw them just lose out in the final seconds. It came down to a must-win game against the dominant Dutch.
Netherlands star man Worthy De Jong put up a monstrous 10 points, but Austria kept fighting back, pulling off an incredible victory off an Enis Murati bucket.

Nico Kaltenbrunner led his side with a 10-point display off his own as the side booked their spot in the Semi-Final.
Netherlands (Women)
After a dominant display against Mongolia on Day 1, the Dutch side cleaned up in Pool play with a 3-0 record. They clawed their way back into their game against Chile, finding themselves trailing for most of the tie. Noortje Driessen put up a game-high 8 points in the 16-13 comeback victory.

It was a gritty battle for first place next against the equally on-fire Azerbaijan side. Loyce Bettonvil and Driessen put up 5 each to lead their side to a 15-11 win.
THE PLAYERS
Nauris Miezis (LAT)
The Latvian Olympic Gold Medalist was was relentless against Egypt, putting up 11 points to lead his side to a perfect record in the Pool Phase. He was pulling the strings all game, calling game with a superb alley-oop dime.

Klaudia Sosnowska (POL)
Poland needed a big offensive game against Hong Kong to clinch Qualification, and it was Klaudia Sosnowska who came clutch with 7 points and 10 rebounds. Her efforts on both ends of the court led to them booking a spot in the knockout stages.
