SINGAPORE (Youth Olympic Games) - FIBA's Kristian Santiago chatted with Australian 3on3 player Olivia Bontempelli at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.

FIBA: Can you share your first impressions of the event with us?

Bontempelli: I really love it here, also in the village, as everyone is really helpful if you ask for anything and you got different cultures and different athletes doing what they love, so am I.

FIBA: What do you think about the 3-on-3 tournament after playing your first game on day one?

Bontempelli: I think it's a lot harder than normal basketball! It's a lot quicker and we are going out on the court and we are calling short plays like a pick & pop as we getting used to the rules as well. We didn't play much as a team together so it was good that we played together yesterday and getting a flow now, so it's really working out.

FIBA: Who is your role model; who are you looking up to, player-wise?

Bontempelli: Penny Taylor is definitely my role model that I'm looking up to. I mean, she is an amazing player!

FIBA: Thanks and good luck to you!
