The two qualified teams from the Qualifying Tournament in Jeddah will join hosts Indonesia, Australia, Bahrain, China, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lebanon, New Zealand, Philippines, and Syria to complete the 16 teams that will be competing in Jakarta in July 2022.
The final FIBA Asia Cup 2021 ticket will be claimed by either Guam or Chinese Taipei, who will face each other in a two-games series in Mangilao on 26 and 28 August, 2021.
