BEIRUT (FIBA Asia Cup 2017) - The high-flying, fast-breaking, slam-dunking and shot-blocking Yi Jianlian of China has been a giant presence in Asian basketball for more than a decade.

BEIRUT (FIBA Asia Cup 2017) - The high-flying, fast-breaking, slam-dunking and shot-blocking Yi Jianlian of China has been a giant presence in Asian basketball for more than a decade.

A four-time Olympian, Yi has captured three FIBA Asia Cup titles and been influential in all of those successes.

Most recently in 2015 and on home soil in Changsha-Hunan, Yi soared above the rest of the competition, claiming the honor of tournament MVP as China stormed to the title without losing a game.

He has averaged 15.1 points per game in his Asia Cup career and will no doubt be a major factor again in 2017 when China play at the event in Beirut, Lebanon.
