TEHRAN (FIBA Asia Challenge 2016) - The Semi-Finals are over, and the Final match up is set at the FIBA Asia Challenge 2016 in Tehran, Iran. Korea and Iran both encountered stiff competition, but their poise and experience helped them survive and advance to the Final.

FIBA.com presents the Top 5 performers from Saturday’s knockout affairs in Tehran.

    Kim SunHyung
SunHyung followed up his double-double performance on Day 7 by putting up 9 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 blocks for Korea, who are looking to win the title of this event for the first time ever. What’s so great about SunHyung is that he doesn’t need to be under spotlight to be effective. Instead, he focuses on maximizing the talents of his wards.

    Lee SeoungHyun http://www.fiba.basketball/asia/challenge/2016/Seounghyun-LEE
Lee had a number of timely hits here in Korea’s win. His tenacity in rebounding and his sharp shooting helped keep Iraq at bay in the endgame. In all, Lee had 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. He is maybe the most dangerous stretch-4 right now in the league.

    Mohammad Shaher Hussein
Hussein had the rather unfortunate task of trying to guard Haddadi around the basket, but even Hussein’s size and mobility couldn’t do much to hamper Haddadi’s production. The 2.06m Hussein had been struggling a little bit in thr tournament, but it’s clear that he will be among the team’s main men in the near future.

    Mohammed Al-Khafaji
Al-Khafaji was incredibly good against Korea yesterday, but Iraq just cracked under the pressure. For sure, the 2.06m big man will continue to be among their leaders today, and he will be expected to match or better the stats he got against Korea — 17 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.

    Hamed Haddadi
Haddadi has been practically invincible, physically speaking. He recorded his fourth double-double in a row tonight — 26 points and 20 rebounds to go along with 2 assists and 6 blocked shots. Haddadi was able to pace himself early on in the tournament, so he should be fresh and more than ready for tomorrow’s Final.
